This is a rare and amazing car combines mid-sized luxury and comfort with solid German quality and sports car handling. Impressive economy and performance make this a very satisfying vehicle. (38+Mpg and 125+mph rated top speed)   If you haven’t driven a B5 TDI,  you will likely be surprised and impressed at how substantial this vehicle feels while being fast, nimble and fun to drive. Mountain and passing performance is impressive.

This Passat is a "High-line" German Built vehicle with superior construction and materials to Jettas and Golfs, which are typically Mexican or Brazilian manufacture and of obviously lower quality, construction and reliability.

Another advantage is the TDi Diesel Engine, and this vehcile's improved transmission which should greatly outlast the gasoline versions. The TDI engine is also practically immune to the "engine sludging"problems common with VW and other turbocharged gasoline engines.

This is the GLS model that features Adjustable Heated Leather Seats, Premium Stereo with CD Changer and Cassette, Power Moon Roof, Refrigerated Glove box, Power Mirrors with turn indicators, Rear Sun Shade, Electronic Stability + Traction Control and more.

Vehicle was sold new and factory serviced by Delon VW in Salem Oregon. Original service records show normal service and maintenance with no chronic or unusual problems. Copies of original service records are available on request.

I am the second registered owner of this Vehicle, I purchased it to replace a TDi that was totaled a couple of months ago. I love the vehicle, there nothing I wrong with it or that concerns me. I simply need a wagon to occasionally transport video equipment. I am looking for a similar TDI Wagon and would consider a trade or purchase if you have one.

Vehicle has been kept in this condition, not "detailed."

NO BIODIESEL USED. While many claim that Vw's improved 2.0TDI Pumpe Düse engine in this vehicle is well suited and performs well on BioDiesel, there is non in my area and I do not use it in this vehicle.
